Long Distance Races

I cycled one more long distance race. It was 300km long (only)  :-) ...

Well I did not expect that it will go so good. I felt nice in the morning and that's how I raced - fast.
Average speed on these 303km was 31km/h. Even for me this was surprisingly fast  :-).

And after crossing the Danube river, I experienced for tha last flat 60kms to the end a really nasty and strong headwind.
But however, I felt strong and completed the race in first place!

Even the organizer was surprised to see me arriving at day light, and before getting dark ...
